The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) Concludes an International Workshop on “Integrated Management Systems and Knowledge Management”

The workshop was the first activity carried out by the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) at its premises after transitioning its role from a recipient country to a provider/recipient country within the Regulatory Cooperation Forum (RCF). Throughout the week, ENRRA hosted an international workshop on integrated management systems and knowledge management, in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the RCF, and with the participation of representatives from several countries, including Nigeria, Sudan, Kenya, Ghana, Jordan, Poland, Turkey, and Pakistan. Professor Dr. Sami Shaaban, Chairman of ENRRA, delivered an opening speech in which he expressed his pleasure at hosting this event at ENRRA. He emphasized the Authority’s commitment to sharing its experiences, particularly in areas where the Authority has achieved significant accomplishments over the past few years, especially in the fields of integrated management systems and knowledge management systems. It is worth noting that the workshop was conducted with the participation of the RCF Secretariat and the RCF Vice Chairman. Throughout the week, ENRRA’s team—Dr. Sherif Bakr, Head of Audit and Quality Management, and Dr. Abdel Fattah Suleiman, Head of the Center of Excellence delivered several lectures, alongside experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency and the Polish regulatory authority.
