The Communication Team of the Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority (ENRRA) Organizes training session for Misr Public Library Officials in Ismailia:

As part of its role in enhancing public awareness of nuclear and radiological safety and security, the Communication Team of ENRRA organized today training for children activities officials at the Misr Public Library in Ismailia Governorate. The aim was to prepare them as ambassadors for the Authority to promote its regulatory and oversight role within the governorate.
The training was led by Dr. Mahitab El Manawy, Head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Department, with the participation of Mr. Mahmoud Gouda, Senior Public Relations Specialist and Editor-in-Chief of ENRRA Magazine, and Mr. Ramy Afifi, Senior Strategic Communication and International Cooperation Specialist.
The training targeted the library’s activity coordinators, especially those interacting with the public, youth, and children. It focused on equipping them with tools to communicate ENRRA’s message through diverse activities that strengthen awareness of the Authority’s mandate in regulating and overseeing nuclear and radiological activities. The training also included a presentation of ENRRA Radiological Monitoring System, aimed at countering rumors, correcting misconceptions, and emphasizing the importance of relying on official sources of information.
Following the session, ENRRA’s Communication Team, led by Dr. Mahitab El Manawy, held a meeting with Ms. Amal Ragab, Director of Misr Public Library in Ismailia, and Ms. Kholoud Mohamed, Activity Coordinator at the library. The meeting discussed establishing a joint program of communication activities between ENRRA and the library, particularly targeting youth and children, to further promote a culture of safety and raise community awareness of the Authority’s vital regulatory and oversight role.
