ENRRA Communication Strategy

• A Supervisory document prepared by the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority highlighting the national requirements and standards to ensure the safety of the site chosen for the establishment of nuclear facilities. The aim of these requirements is to provide protection for site personnel and the environment from the effects of ionizing radiation from nuclear facilities. These requirements must be met by license applicants prior to obtaining site permission.
• The objective of this regulatory to requirement is to establish the requirements for the elements of a site evaluation for a nuclear installation so as to characterize fully the site specific conditions pertinent to safety of nuclear installation.

The Egyptian Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority launched its Five years Strategy (2020-2025), with clear vision and objectives. This plan takes into consideration the needs and expectations of the interested parties, in particular developing rigorous national and legal regulatory framework. Through this plan ENRRA provides assurance to the interested parties that it is certain of its objectives and will regulate all activities on behalf of the public for the pursuant of the highest international standards.
