This Department is generally responsible for exercising regulatory control through assessment and licensing in areas related to nuclear safety in accordance with the Law (as amended), its Executive Regulations, regulations and all other rules and decrees to ensure the safety and protection of humans, property and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation.

Petrojet

Observation : The inspection covers previous experience in manufacturing similar components; organizational aspects including personnel qualifications and assessment; quality management system and relevant procedures and practices; knowledge about the regulatory requirements; process equipment, testing devices, laboratory appliances and tools, devices and instrumentations; metrological support of the production; steps of launching the equipment into production; arrangement of destructive and non-destructive tests; calibration of applied tools and devices; fire safety. It was found that the factories are ready to manufacture SSCs important to safety (class 2 & 3)
