- This document highlights the regulatory requirements for planning, preparedness and response to radiological emergencies for the entities that use radiation sources, radioactive materials, or devices that emit ionizing radiation at the state level, with the exception of X-ray devices for medical use in order to ensure the protection of workers, the public, property and the environment from the dangers of ionizing radiation.
- These requirements apply to all entities that use or deal with radioactive sources / radioactive materials / devices that emit ionizing radiation (except for X-ray equipment), industrial and research, as well as in the field of petroleum.
