ENRRA Celebrates Safety Day on 13 October 2022 as a part of its annual plan of activities to enhance the organization’s safety culture proposed by the ENRRA safety culture committee held on 13 December 2021.

In cooperation with the safety culture committee, the knowledge management workers have organized the safety day activities.

The day’s activities started with a speech by ENRRA chairman, his Excellency Prof. Sami Shaban.

In his speech, he emphasizes the following:

Safety day is the day to celebrate our commitment to safety and to memorize us that safety comes first, and it’s our principal value It’s our duty to establish, maintain, and develop the Safety Culture program at ENRRA as a part of our essential national role as the Egyptian independent regulatory body.

We established, implemented, and improved our integrated management system to develop, foster, and sustain a strong Safety Culture.

Our program for Safety Culture is based on the following main attributes:

▪ Safety is a clearly recognized value
▪ Leadership decision-making and communications toward safety are clear
▪ Accountability for safety in every activity is clear
▪ Individual responsibility for the safety of all ENRRA employees is our goal
▪ Safety is integrated into all activities
▪ Safety is a continuous learning-driven process

ENRRA is committed to:

▪ Capacity building process that ensures conducting all the regulatory functions to achieve our safety
▪ Strict adherence to discipline with precise distribution of powers and personal responsibility of managers and executives
▪ Managers at all levels, including Myself, shall prioritize safety and provide adequate resources
▪ Managers at all levels create an atmosphere of trust, openness, and cooperation
▪ Each employee shall understand the impact of his/her activities on safety
▪ Each employee shall understand the consequences that may result from falling to meet the established requirements for safety
▪ You are encouraged to use the lessons learned procedure that will reflect your experience and help achieve our goal of enhancing safety.
