Dr. Samy Soliman participated at the Egyptian-Russian Nuclear Energy Forum, where he delivered a keynote speech in the plenary session entitled, “Implementation of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant project, achieving sustainable development goals and combating climate change.” During his participation, Dr. Soliman explained the regulatory role of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority as defined by Law No. 7 of 2010 regulating nuclear and radiological activities. His Excellency thanked the Prime Minister for his support for the Authority and exerting every effort to remove any obstacles facing its work. Dr. Soliman stressed that the authority will exert all efforts needed to ensure that the Dabaa project is operated with the highest levels of security and safety.
